Beta Alpha Psi is a nonprofit international honorary and service organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students at The University of Tennessee. Beta Alpha Psi provides opportunities for development of technical and professional skills to complement university education; participation in community service; and interaction among students, faculty, and professionals. Chapter members and candidates are required by national bylaws to participate in certain activities during the academic year.
Our chapter has planned meetings and other activities in order to obtain "Superior Chapter" status. Strong participation is essential in accomplishing this goal. Therefore, a high level of participation is expected of each member and candidate.
In order to become a member or remain a member in good standing, each person is required to complete a certain number of activities each semester.
All Meetings are mandatory. If you miss a required meeting or an activity that you've signed-up for, you will be required to make up the meeting/activity with additional community service.
Non-BAP community service hours may be turned in to satisfy up to 3 hours of the total community service requirement.
